Hey there, I'm Sergio, a tech engineer from Chile currently living in Sneek, NL.
I'm a technology optimist at heart, with a deep passion for startups and cloud architectures.

Professional Background

As an entrepreneur, I've been in the trenches: coding applications, migrating infrastructure, hiring engineers, delivering technical presentations, fundraising, iterating, failing, and ultimately shipping products that matter to customers.

I've had the responsibility and privilege of shipping multiple tech products at speed and at scale. Additionally, I have experience building strong technical relationships with various stakeholders, including VCs, corporate executives, and startup accelerators from around the world.

Hobbies & Interests

I'm a big fan of the outdoors — especially going on walks, trips, and random plans with my partner, Rixt, and our dogs. I spent a substantial part of my life living near the ocean, so surfing is the sport I enjoy the most. I won't turn down a good seaside sundowner — word.

I'd definitely add team sports to the list — football/soccer, beach volleyball, and why not, padel.

I quit smoking and drinking on November 5th, 2023 — and, surprisingly, the world didn't fall apart. Taking better care of my health has been the best decision I've made since.
